Wednesday, August 19th will be a fun night out at Coteau des Prairies Lodge. Tapas & Cocktails is an entertaining evening of live music, craft cocktails and chef crafted foods.

We are thrilled to introduce North Dakota’s newest and Fargo’s only distillery. Proof Artisan Distillers produces a variety of premium handcrafted spirits using locally sourced ingredients. Proof’s lineup of liquors currently includes 2 Docks Vodka and Minions Gin, each of which will be featured at the event. Proof will also be unveiling a limited edition spirit you don’t want to miss!

This is a social event and guests will have the opportunity to make new friends and mingle with the artisans making the event possible.

Distillery owner and founder Joel Kath will be on hand to introduce his products and talk about launching a distillery in the heart of downtown Fargo.

In honor of back to school season, Fargo-based mixologist Elijah Larson is offering the course ‘Mixology 101’. Elijah will introduce the lost art of crafting a classic pre-prohibition drink and discuss the history of cocktails. Elijah’s demonstrations will also include modern cocktails and an in depth look at the essential bartender’s arsenal of ingredients. Included as a part of the event, guests will be served the cocktails shown in the demonstrations.

Chef Judd Eskildsen from The Toasted Frog in Fargo is preparing an incredible secret menu of tapas-style food pairings. Tapas are a Spanish inspired style of cuisine featuring small servings of gourmet foods. Expect to experience a wide variety of amazing flavors. Even though portions are small, there will be many different tapas served. Guests can expect to eat a full meal throughout the course of the event.

North Dakota singer/songwriter Jessie Veeder will be performing live music and celebrating her newly released Nashville album titled ‘Northern Lights’. We absolutely love her music and we are thrilled to welcome Jessie for her first visit to Coteau des Prairies Lodge. Jessie will be back to perform at Tewaukon Music Festival on Saturday, September 5th.

Fargo Party Bus

Proof is arranging a party bus from Fargo for anyone who would like to catch a ride to and from the event. There will be a $15 fee per person to ride. A black colored bus will begin loading at 4:30pm and will depart at 5:00pm from the Sears corner of West Acres. The party bus will depart Coteau des Prairies Lodge no later than 11:00pm.

Event Details & Reservations

The event is on Wednesday, August 19th at Coteau des Prairies Lodge. Space is limited and available by reservation only. The price is $60 per person. The price includes a full meal consisting of numerous gourmet tapas, three 4oz. craft cocktails and a special dessert cocktail. Water and coffee will be provided. Sodas and additional alcoholic beverages will be sold at the bar. Doors open at 5pm, guests are welcome to come early, tour the lodge and enjoy refreshments served at the bar. The event will begin at 7pm.
