Tewaukon Music Festival – Final Details

TMF 2015 Poster v1.4 webSaturday is the big day! We are busy putting the finishing touches on the festival grounds and the lodge.

The forecast is calling for a beautiful day with a high in mid 80s, a light breeze and a small chance of showers in the evening. We encourage guests to bring weather appropriate attire. In the unlikely event of rain or severe weather, we will welcome guests to find a dry place in the lodge to wait out the storm. The lodge is the perfect place to watch weather roll through.

The amphitheater seating area is a natural native prairie hillside. Blankets are recommended. Stadium blankets will be available for purchase at the merchandise booth.

Ticket Gate / Parking / Camping / Shuttle

Tickets will be available at the gate. $25 for adults (ages 18+). $15 for youth (ages 6-17). Free for kids (ages 5 & under).

Parking is $5 per vehicle or $10 per camping vehicle. There will be parking attendants for your assistance. The campgrounds are primitive with no electricity or water. Generators are allowed.

To assist guests is moving around the festival grounds, there will be a shuttle running all day between the lodge, the parking lot and the lower amphitheater area. Children under 12 must have an adult accompanying them on the shuttle.

Food & beverages (including alcohol) will be available from 11am until 1am. Vendors will be in the lower amphitheater area as well at the lodge.

Kids Entertainment

Kids will have a blast at Tewaukon Music Festival! Not only will they get to jam with Tigirlily, Kat Perkins and others, they will enjoy inflatable games, pony rides and face painting. Then there is Kid Zone, a place for kids to compete in fun games with their friends for prizes and treats. Games include nickel scramble, three legged race, bobbing for apples, water balloon catch, bean bag toss, hula hoop contest, impossible shot and more!

The Travling Art Pub from Brainerd, MN will be putting on painting classes in the great room in the lodge throughout the day. These fun classes will give guests an opportunity to be guided through an acrylic painting on an 11×14 canvas by professional artists. Don’t be intimidated, the painting will be an easy skill level, and we think you will be surprised how well you can paint! The class costs $15 per person. Limited class space is available so sign up when you arrive at the lodge. First come, first served. See schedule below.

Additional Details

IDs required to purchase alcohol and must be 21 years of age. No outside food or beverages are allowed at the event premise. Guests in possession of outside food or beverages may be subject to removal from the event premise. Tickets are non-refundable. Refunds for cancellation due to inclement weather are subject to the discretion of Coteau des Prairies Lodge.
