UPDATE: Congratulations to Tyler Hofer for winning the contest! Tyler guessed 5275 feet of ‘Log Builder’ caulk. He is only off by 5 feet. We figured the total was very close to 5280 feet, which of course is exactly 1 mile. Thank you all for participating! Stay tuned for more exciting news and contests.
To celebrate our opening, we are giving away one of our new Coteau des Prairies Lodge logo mugs. This handsome 14oz. ceramic mug is a sure way to impress your in-laws and other hard to impress people. It’s yours when you accurately guess how many feet of seam Patty Breker caulked to seal the log walls of the lodge. The closest guess will win! Patty spent hundreds of hours and used cases upon cases of ‘Log Builder’ log home caulk to seal both the exterior and interior seams of the log walls. And she didn’t just glob it in there either, her attention to detail shows. You can inspect her work when you come out to the lodge.
The winner will be announced here on our website on Friday, October 26th at noon.
Yes, as the title of this blog post implies, we are now open for business. We are now taking reservations, so give us a call today at (701) 680-1175.
The lodge is not yet completely finished and we will be continuing construction on some portions through the fall. But we are operational and prepared to serve our guests and offer exceptional hospitality at one of the most unique lodges around. And we look forward to the spring when we will celebrate our official Grand Opening.
Click on the ‘Comments’ link below to leave your lucky guess. And if you are not so lucky, you can still purchase a mug at the lodge for $10.
Joe,
I don’t know whether to congratulate you on your new lodge venture or offer my deepest condolences.
We are currently in the 21st year of our adventure and to say the least, we have seen it all.
We all know after time, that we have created a monster. The big question is; “how do i like this little monster”.
