We have planned a very special beer dinner for the evening of Wednesday, June 25th. We are featuring four amazing craft beers from Lucid Brewing Company (Minnetonka, MN) paired with a four course dinner designed and prepared by Executive Chef Jeff Anderson from Eat Shop Kitchen/Bar (Plymouth, MN). Eric Biermann, President and Founder of Lucid Brewing will also be joining us for the evening to introduce his delicious beers.
At our Summer Beer Dinner, you will have the chance to try a one-of-a-kind beer. Lucid is brewing an exclusive pin (small keg) of Dyno Pale Ale infused with green tea, clover honey and Sorachi Ace hops.
In addition, we will be introducing our 28 Day Dry-Aged Breker Beef. Our unique 28 day dry-aging process was developed by Coteau des Prairies Lodge in collaboration with a local butcher who processes the beef. But we begin by selecting our beef from the very best animals raised and finished on the Joe Breker and Jeff Breker farms. Our dry-aged tenderloin will be served with the second course and we can’t wait for you to try it!
Jeff Anderson is Executive Chef at Eat Shop in Plymouth, MN. His amazing ‘cooking from scratch’ style has earned him quite the following. At Eat Shop, he makes everything in house; from sausages and breads to dressings and pickles. Here is a video of Jeff preparing his house made sausages. He has been extremely busy lately because he and his partners just opened a new restaurant in Roseville, MN called Digby’s. He has been performing Executive Chef duties at both stores. Everything on the beer dinner menu, including the sausage, is made fresh by Jeff, just for the event. Jeff will present each dinner course as it is served and describe the food/beer pairing.
Eric Biermann is the President and Founder of Lucid Brewing Company in Minnetonka, MN. Lucid’s beers have quickly become a staple for bars, restaurants and liquor stores in Minnesota as well as North Dakota. In 2013, Star Tribune named Lucid the Best New Brewery in Minnesota, the year when seemingly dozens of breweries launched across the state. Last month, Bon Appetit Magazine listed Lucid as one of the 10 New U.S. Breweries to Watch as Lucid grows its reputation on the national scene. It is easy to see why so many people love Lucid beers once you try them. You will have the opportunity to drink 4 different Lucid beers at the dinner and Eric will introduce each one and tell us all about starting a brewery during the craft beer renaissance. We will also have Lucid’s Duo (Double IPA) on hand at the bar for those who would like to be even more adventurous!
The event is on Wednesday, June 25th at Coteau des Prairies Lodge. Everyone is welcome, but space is limited and meals are available by reservation only.
