Summer Beer Dinner – Thursday, July 11th

On Thursday, July 11th, 2019, we are hosting Fargo Brewing Company at our Summer Beer Dinner! Fargo Brewer Sean Dunnigan will be introducing his amazing beers. Guest Chef Ryan Nitschke from Luna (Fargo) is planning an awesome five course pairing menu.

James Beard Award nominated chef Ryan Nitschke is making his guest chef debut in the kitchen at Coteau des Prairies Lodge. We can’t wait. Ryan is the Executive Chef at the celebrated Fargo restaurant Luna and his bold culinary innovation has earned him plenty of accolades as well as a loyal following.

Chef Ryan worked closely with his good friends at Fargo Brewing Company to find the right beers for this menu. Three of the beers were crafted specially just for the dinner. The Fargo Original Lager will be served from a traditional cask, in which it is being naturally conditioned at this very moment. About the Brewery

Fargo Brewing Company is a pioneer in the North Dakota craft beer scene. Since 2011, when they ushered in a new era of Fargo area breweries, Fargo Brewing has been a standard bearer for local brews. With a wide variety of year round and seasonal beers, Fargo Brewing always has unique and delicious beers available on tap and in beer coolers throughout the region. This is our second beer dinner to feature Fargo Brewing Company.

About the Chef

Chef Ryan Nitschke is a homegrown Fargo, ND talent. He has been the recipient of several local and national awards and attention including a James Beard Best Chef Midwest nomination and two AAA Four Diamond Awards.  Firmly linked to his roots and looking towards the future, he is, above all, passionate about food and his surrounding community. Using innovation fueled by honesty and thoughtfulness, Ryan leads Fargo kitchens while creating memorable experiences for all sorts. His aim is to nurture and grow his talents while educating those around him with his clear vision and admirable boldness. 

Event Info

The event is on Thursday, July 11th at Coteau des Prairies Lodge. Everyone is welcome, but space is limited and meals are available by reservation only. Alcohol will be served only to those over 21 years of age. The price is $70 per person. The meal includes a gourmet five course meal and 5oz. of beer served with each course. Water and coffee will be provided. Sodas and additional alcoholic beverages will be sold at the bar. Doors open at 5pm, guests are welcome to come early, tour the lodge and enjoy refreshments served at the bar. When you arrive at the lodge, sign your party in with our hostess. Guests will be seated for the meal promptly at 6pm.
